On Wednesday, 15 November 2017, the House of Commons held a Westminster Hall debate on family justice reform. The debate was secured by Suella Fernandes, a Conservative member of parliament and former lawyer. In the debate Ms Fernandes called for and Members discussed the introduction of: a rebuttable presumption of shared parenting no-fault divorce enforceability of pre-nuptial agreements protection of cohabitants on separation and greater transparency in the family courts.
